2023 Coach Registration

Coaching is the lifeblood of our organization. The success of MYB and the growth and development of the players within it depends on dedicated volunteers willing to teach our players the fundamentals of the game of baseball, as well as teamwork, competitive sportsmanship and respect for the game and for others.

We are incredibly thankful to those who volunteer their time to coach.

Beginning in the 2021 season, Babe Ruth League has standardized the background check and abuse prevention training requirements for all volunteers in our league, including coaches. This streamlines the process somewhat, although the individual administrative burden on each coach is a little greater.

The new coach registration is now a two-step process:

1. Answer the two followup questions in this registgration program, detailing what league you would like to coach in what and commitment level (manager or coach). You may provide additional comments, as well.

2. If you are new to coaching this year OR did not complete the background check and abuse training last year, you will be required to do so this year in order to coach (this is an every other year process).  If you are required to complete these you will be emailed a link to do so once it is ready.
